We're hiring freelance Social Compliance Auditors to conduct SIZA, WIETA, and SMETA audits across South Africa. This flexible role allows you to work independently, manage your own schedule, and even collaborate with other certification bodies. You'll play a key role in helping clients meet social compliance standards while upholding NSF's reputation for integrity and excellence.

We're hiring in Western Cape, Gauteng, and Eastern Cape.

  • Responsibilities: Conduct audits for clients requiring SIZA, WIETA, and SMETA standards.
  • Travel to audit sites across South Africa, including overnight stays during peak seasons (up to 5 consecutive days).
  • Maintain accurate audit logs and submit timely reports.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and uphold NSF's standards.

  • Collaborate with the scheduling team to ensure audits are efficiently planned.

  • Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of full-time post-graduation experience in human resources or ESG-related activities within production environments.

  • Post-Matric qualification: Degree or diploma in HR or ESG-related field.
  • Valid travel documents and driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel during peak audit seasons.
  • Availability for 10-15 audit days per month.
  • Contactable references.
  • Copies of all qualifications and certificates in English.

Preferred but not required:

  • APSCA registration in good standing.
  • Training in APSCA, Sedex, SIZA, WIETA, Rainforest Alliance, or other ESG-related programs.
  • Prior experience in social compliance auditing.
