About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Editor to help maintain and update legal content for our Lexis+ platform. You will ensure our legal datasets are accurate, current, and meet publishing standards. This role involves working with legal materials, collaborating across teams, and supporting continuous improvement in editorial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor legal developments and update legislation to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Add and consolidate new legal content on our platform
  • Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and production goals
  • Participate in quality reviews and audits
  • Collaborate with suppliers and provide feedback on content quality
  • Work with internal and external teams on testing, reporting issues, and delivering projects
  • Respond to queries professionally and promptly
  • Support process improvements and best practices
  • Engage in ongoing training and development
  • Perform other related duties as needed

Requirements:

  • A degree in law or publishing, equivalent experience in legal publishing or research
  • Familiarity with UK and Irish law.
  • Strong written English skills, with attention to detail and ability to follow editorial guidelines
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams
  • Adaptability and strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
  • XML mark-up language and data fixing/cleaning experience.
  • Prior experience in digital legal publishing is preferred
