Manager: Cloud Operations Excellence

We seek a candidate with expertise in cloud cost management, optimization strategies, and operational governance, specifically focusing on the financial control of cloud resource expenditure.

As part of your portfolio as
Manager Cloud Operations Excellence
, you will be:

  • Responsible for providing strategic and IT operational leadership for Microsoft Azure cloud environments and on-premise infrastructure. The aim is to ensure continuous cost reduction, architecture, and resource optimization while delivering exceptional customer experience
  • Responsible to support the overarching strategic objectives of Group FinTech by driving profitable growth and improving operational performance. We seek a candidate with expertise in cloud cost management, optimization strategies, and operational governance, specifically focusing on the financial control of cloud resource expenditure.

The incumbent
must have
the following:

  • 4-year Information Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Engineering (or related) Degree
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification Foundation or Expert v3 / Managing Professional/Master
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Azure Cloud Architect expert is a must3 , CCSP and/or CISSP
  • FinOps Certified Practitioner / FinOps Certified Professional
  • Network related certification - CCNA, CCNP or similar
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT Service Operations and/or Support functions
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technology covering Fintech, Financial Services, insurance, banking, mobile money
  • 3-5 years in cloud computing (Azure)
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) concepts
  • Experience in Network operation (routing, Firewalls, Load Balancers)
  • Experience in Server, storage and Database infrastructure operation (Dell, HP, RedHat, Windows Servers, Oracle)
  • Hands on experience in managing, leading IT Operations in a multi country environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-driven and ability to motivate a fast-paced team
