Provincial Communications and Digital Marketing Officer

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Communicating the Party's message through digital media, social media and other legislature content
  • Producing designs and video material aligned to the Party's message
  • Driving the Party's political message in the media, within the party and to the public more broadly

Minimum requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design or any related field
  • 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • 2 years' experience in media and social media monitoring
  • 2 years' experience in creative design (Adobe Design Suite)
  • Experience in drafting and dissemination of written communication for external purposes
  • Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite
  • Valid driver's licence

  • Copy writing, graphic designing and video conceptualisation

  • Identify and extract information from traditional media statements for amplification on social media channels
  • Creation of online campaigns
  • Compile media and social media performance reports

  • Be outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
  • Work independently
  • Apply sound judgement
