Plantify is seeking an energetic team player to join our dispatch team. The ideal candidate will quickly get to grips with our systems and contribute seamlessly to the smooth day-to-day flow of our operations. You'll be joining a fun, supportive, and focused work environment where collaboration and efficiency go hand in hand.

The Dispatch Assistant will primarily work in cleaning plants and packaging them safely. In the afternoons, there's some store work - watering plants, arranging shelves and general store upkeep. On some days - there may be the need to support driving for deliveries - a drivers license is thus essential. Please note, this is an entry level position - and not suitable for graduates.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting our Dispatch Lead with pulling orders, grooming plants, packing orders.
  • In-store work - cleaning, sorting, watering plants.
  • Delivering and collecting plants and planters.
  • Making Mossballs, repotting plants, creating plant mounts
    (we will train on all of this)

- Cleaning the store - making sure it is presentable.
- Other Tasks as they may emerge.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Good English communication skills - written and verbal.
  • A track record of previous work in retail, client service, back office, dispatch or related work.
  • Must be able to work with their hands - relatively good fine motor skills, e.g. needle + thread work.
  • Physically able to lift larger plants/boxes (±15kg).
