Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fitter at Sebilo Resources, located in Hotazel. The Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining equipment and machinery. Day-to-day tasks will include reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools and materials, fitting and assembling parts, conducting regular maintenance checks, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs. Ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations is a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Qualified Fitter with Trade Certificate at recognised/accredited institution N2
  • 3 year's post trade test experience as an Artisan
  • Excellent knowledge of machinery, other systems and their components
  • Understanding of and adherence to safety standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience in hydraulics, conveyors and crushing plant will be an advantage
  • Ability to conduct regular maintenance checks
  • Strong attention to detail
