  • Processing of invoices, stakeholder fees and payroll
  • Processing travel requisitions and claims
  • Review all work done by Administrator

Asset Management

  • Conduct asset counts
  • Reconcile register and financial system

Reporting

  • Unit Processing of journals
  • Assistance in the compilation of management accounts

Financial Reporting and Internal Controls

  • Assistance in the compilation of statutory reports
  • Assistance in the compilation of quarterly and annual reports
  • Implementation of the Services SETA Financial Accounting System
  • Continuous improvement of financial policies and practises
  • Implementation of Auditor General's recommendations
  • Reduction in overall audit findings
  • Efficient document management

Achievement of Work Plans

  • Execute work plans and drive the evidence collection in real time
  • Produce reports against the implementation of work plans
  • Respond to audit findings with complete evidence, on time
  • Implement documented data management practices
  • Comply with policies and procedures in the unit

  • Record, file and ensure the availability of POP information

  • National Senior Certificate or equivalent certification (NQF 4)

  • National Diploma or equivalent qualification (NQF 6) in Accounting, Internal Audit, Taxation, or relevant field required
  • Two years' working experience in a Finance or similar role
