Purpose of the Job

Lingua Franca Publishers is seeking a Sales and Marketing Representative to drive sales of our products to schools, educational booksellers and libraries. The role focuses on growing revenue and market share through effective promotion and relationship management.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma (preferably in Marketing)
  • Minimum 2 years' sales and marketing experience
  • Understanding of the South African education sector
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work within a matrix structure

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute sales and marketing plans to meet revenue, profit and market share targets
  • Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of Lingua Franca Publishers' product range
  • Promote products to schools, educational booksellers and libraries to achieve sales targets
  • Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions and trade shows
  • Identify new customers and business opportunities
  • Gather and report market intelligence to inform marketing strategies
  • Maintain existing customer relationships and capitalize on growth opportunities
