We're Hiring: Finance Administrator

We are expanding our finance team and looking for a detail-driven, organised and proactive Finance Administrator to join our fast-paced logistics and operations environment.

Role Description

The Finance Administrator supports daily accounting functions, ensures accurate financial record-keeping, and assists the business with reconciliations, invoicing, and reporting. This role is essential to maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of our business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Administration

  • Capture and process supplier & customer invoices
  • Maintain organised electronic & physical filing systems
  • Prepare purchase orders, credit applications & support documents
  • Process staff expenses & petty cash
  • Assist with management reports and monthly financial statements

Reconciliations

  • Perform daily, weekly & monthly bank, supplier and fuel reconciliations
  • Validate transport & trip costs for accurate billing
  • Resolve discrepancies in customer/supplier accounts
  • Assist with month-end close

Billing & Accounts

  • Issue customer invoices
  • Follow up on outstanding payments
  • Allocate customer receipts
  • Resolve invoice queries

Compliance & Auditing

  • Ensure all financial documentation meets policy standards
  • Support internal & external audits

General Support

  • Work closely with logistics & operations on trip-related expenses
  • Assist management with financial tasks & data requests
  • Contribute to process improvements

Qualifications & Experience

  • National Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance advantageous
  • Experience in logistics, fuel or transport is an advantage
  • Strong Excel skills & exposure to accounting systems (Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)
  • High integrity, strong admin discipline & great attention to detail
