Project Manager - Web & Design (Creative Agency, Remote)

Location: Fully Remote (South Africa-based candidates encouraged to apply)

Hours: 9am – 6pm UK (40 hours per week)

About the Role

VA Central is recruiting on behalf of one of our long-standing UK clients for an Operations Manager to join their growing creative agency. We're looking for a proactive and highly organized Project Manager to oversee all web build and design projects. This role involves managing communication between clients and our internal design and development teams, ensuring smooth project delivery from onboarding through to completion.

The ideal candidate will have agency experience, a solid understanding of web and design processes, and excellent client communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of web and design projects.
  • Lead client onboarding, gather requirements, and brief internal teams.
  • Coordinate designers, developers, and other team members to meet project timelines.
  • Review project drafts and ensure they meet client expectations before submission.
  • Manage client feedback and oversee revisions through to final delivery.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients throughout each project phase.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years proven experience as an Project Manager (or similar role) within a digital marketing or creative agency.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong understanding of web development and design processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Basecamp, Asana, Trello, or similar)
  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
