Step Ahead Educare | Penhill Campus
Step Ahead Educare is growing, and we're looking for a friendly, responsible Driver to help us safely transport our little learners to and from school each day. If you enjoy working with children and take pride in safe, steady driving — we would love to hear from you.
Main Purpose of the Job
To ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of learners to and from Step Ahead Educare, while maintaining a warm, dependable and supportive presence.
We are ideally looking for someone who has:
- Preferably Grade 12 (but not essential)
- A valid PDP (essential)
- At least 2 years' driving experience with passengers
- No accident record and a clear criminal record
- Lives within 5 km of our Penhill campus (Eersteriver, Kuilsriver,etc)
- Understanding of:
o Providing caring, customer-focused service
o Adjusting driving for weather, road and traffic conditions
o Report emergencies or defects
o Monthly vehicle maintenance checks
o Weekly fuel tracking and trip reporting
Key Responsibilities
- Follow weekly/monthly transport schedules
- Keep the vehicle clean, safe and ready for daily use
- Report any faulty or broken tools/equipment as soon as possible
- Ensure that the Step Ahead Educare vehicle is safe & reliable daily
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R1 650,00 - R2 500,00 per week
Work Location: In person
