Position Overview

TTP Technologies is seeking a dynamic and experienced Control Room Manager to lead the iSafe Control Room operations & All Stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all control room activities, ensuring effective supervision of shifts, maintaining system functionality, and coordinating with both field operations and partner agencies/stakeholders. This position plays a key leadership role in upholding the integrity and responsiveness of the iSafe Smart Safety Platform.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage the overall daily operations of the iSafe Control Centre.

· Supervise Shift Supervisors and ensure consistent staff performance across all shifts.

· Maintain 24/7 operational readiness, including system uptime, communication channels, and dispatch efficiency.

· Oversee monitoring of all alerts, emergency activations, and field responses.

· Ensure incidents are logged, reviewed, and closed with proper reporting and quality assurance.

· Liaise with SAPS, CPF, municipal officials, and private security partners.

· Develop and implement operational policies, shift schedules, and reporting procedures.

· Conduct performance evaluations, disciplinary processes, and ongoing staff training.

· Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for management.

· Maintain a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement in the control centre.

Minimum Requirements

· Extensive experience (minimum 6 years) in control room or emergency response management.

· Proven track record in supervisory or managerial roles within security, safety, or communications operations.

· Strong understanding of digital dispatch systems, CCTV monitoring, GPS tracking, and control room software.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Sound administrative and reporting ability (Microsoft Office, documentation, data accuracy).

· PSIRA Grade A certification will be an added advantage.

· Valid driver's licence (Code 8 or higher).

· Must be available for rotational supervision, including weekends and public holidays if requested.

Qualifications

· Grade 12 Matric Certificate

· Postgraduate Diploma/Honours in Project Management

· Valid PSIRA certificate (Grade A)
