Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a SHEQ Administrator Intern based in Kathu. The SHEQ Administrator Intern will assist in maintaining and implementing SHEQ systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal standards. Day-to-day tasks include data entry, preparing compliance documentation, conducting basic risk assessments, coordinating training sessions, and monitoring SHEQ activities. The intern will also support audits, reporting, and the continuous improvement of SHEQ processes.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SHEQ principles, compliance regulations, and risk management
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, including data entry and documentation
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments
  • Proficiency in report writing and basic auditing processes
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Computer literacy, including experience with MS Office tools
  • Previous experience or coursework in SHEQ management systems is advantageous
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
