Role Description

This is a full-time office based role for a Traffic Manager based in Johannesburg. The Traffic Manager will ensure the smooth and efficient workflow of projects across departments, assigning tasks, managing deadlines, and optimizing resources. Key responsibilities include collaborating with creative and account teams to develop schedules, tracking progress to meet deadlines, and troubleshooting project bottlenecks. The Traffic Manager will play a critical role in maintaining communication, ensuring project efficiency, and delivering exceptional marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Strong project management and organizational skills to coordinate tasks and timelines effectively
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and software
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing project challenges
  • Familiarity with marketing and creative processes is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Project Management, or a related field
  • Experience in a similar role within the marketing or advertising industry is advantageous

Requirements

  • 2–4 years experience as a Traffic Manager or in a similar workflow/project coordination role
  • Strong organisational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm and effective in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent understanding of agency processes and creative workflows
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., , Asana, Trello, etc.)
  • A proactive and solutions-driven mindset
