Business Development Executive Location: Silverlakes, Pretoria Salary: R30 000 – R40 000

The successful candidate will be based at the head office in Silverlakes, Pretoria on Mondays and Fridays, and will travel to clients from Tuesday to Thursday. A valid driver's license and own vehicle are therefore essential.

About the Role

This position is ideal for a down-to-earth, self-driven sales professional who is comfortable engaging with clients across diverse environments – from businesses to farms.
As a Business Development Executive, your main focus will be to acquire new clients, build strong relationships, and expand the company's footprint in the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new business opportunities and build a strong network of potential clients.

  • Focus on small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as key accounts.

  • Establish and strengthen the company's presence in core industries.

  • Design and present tailored solutions from the product range: Wireless, Fibre, VoIP, and Cloud.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle – from the first meeting to contract finalisation and handover to the internal team.

  • Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with clients.

Requirements and Experience
  • Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) – no further formal qualifications required.

  • 2–5 years of relevant sales experience in the IT, telecommunications, or internet services industry.

  • Strong understanding of industry terminology and technology concepts.

  • Proven success in business development and sales.

  • Independent, professional, and willing to travel three days per week.

Hoofverantwoordelikhede
  • Ontwikkel nuwe sakegeleenthede en bou 'n sterk netwerk van potensiële kliënte.

  • Fokus op klein- tot mediumondernemings (KMO's) sowel as sleutelrekeninge.

  • Vestig en versterk die maatskappy se teenwoordigheid in kernbedrywe.

  • Ontwerp en bied oplossings aan uit die produkreeks: Wireless, Fibre, VoIP en Cloud.

  • Bestuur die volledige verkoopsiklus – van eerste ontmoeting tot kontrakfinalisering en oordrag aan die interne span.

  • Bou en handhaaf langtermyn-verhoudings met kliënte.

Vereistes en Ervaring
  • Minimum Graad 12 (Matriek) – geen verdere formele kwalifikasies word vereis nie.

  • 2–5 jaar relevante verkoops-ervaring in die IT-, telekommunikasie- of internetdienste-industrie.

  • Sterk begrip van die terminologie (lingo) binne die IT/Telekom-industrie.

  • Bewese sukses in besigheidontwikkeling en verkope.

  • Selfstandig, professioneel en bereid om 3 dae per week te reis.
