Our client is a leading supplier in the hardware and building materials industry, specializing in a wide range of high-quality products and services. They are established with a commitment to excellence and offers comprehensive solutions for construction, DIY projects, and professional builders. Their product portfolio includes plywood, timber, boards, general hardware, and a variety of building materials.
 
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Basic salary of R10,000 per month.
  • Commission based on meeting overall team sales targets.
  • 13th cheque contingent on the company meeting its financial goals.
  • Eligibility to join the company's Retirement Annuity (RA) after one year of service.
  • Access to the company's Health for Me Medical Scheme after six months of service.
  • 15 working days of annual leave.
  • Company is closed on public holidays unless they fall on a Saturday.
  • Work schedule: 5.5 days per week, with one day off per month.

 
Position Overview:
As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our customer base within the hardware and building industry. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and ensuring that sales targets are met. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who is not just an order taker but a proactive salesperson eager to contribute to the company's growth.
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the hardware and building industry.
  • Experience in the board cutting industry is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of matric 
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
