Job Description
As part of the Global Finance Organisation, EMEA Finance Operations function is being established to manage transactional processing services across Asia, Australia, Middle East, and Africa covering Purchase to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), and Record to Report (R2R).

This full-time role is within the R2R team in the Finance Operations function. The role will work on timely and accurate processing of operational accounting to enable timely and accurate period close and reporting. Participates in team's continuous improvement initiatives.

Based in Johannesburg, the successful candidate will have experience in performing a record to report role in Finance Operations.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities Summary Of Role
This role sits within the Record to Report (R2R) team in our EMEA Finance Operations function, based in Johannesburg. You'll be part of a collaborative global finance team that ensures accurate financial processing, reporting, and compliance for regions across Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa.

What I Will Be Doing

You'll be responsible for posting journal entries, closing periods, maintaining fixed asset records, handling VAT returns, reconciling balance sheets, and ensuring all reporting is timely and accurate. In addition, supporting the statutory audit process.You'll work closely with other teams to resolve issues, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help drive a culture focused on excellent service. You'll also contribute to process documentation, support compliance with accounting standards, and participate in cross-functional projects when needed.
