Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in basic IT infrastructure, experience working with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, and the ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues, including VPN client configurations. This role is critical in ensuring that our end-users receive timely and efficient technical support to resolve issues and improve operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

● Provide first-line IT support to employees via email, phone, or in-person, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.

● Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11).

● Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN), including VPN client setup and troubleshooting.

● Assist with basic IT infrastructure tasks such as setting up workstations, printers, and peripheral devices.

● Install, configure, and maintain software applications, antivirus programs, and system updates.

● Create and maintain documentation related to IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and user guides.

● Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed.

● Ensure adherence to company IT security policies and procedures.

● Provide technical support for audio-visual equipment during meetings and presentations. ● Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of IT equipment and supplies.

Requirements: ● Minimum Certification: CompTIA A+ certification is mandatory. ● Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11). ● Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware components (desktops, laptops, printers) and software installations. ● Hands-on experience troubleshooting network issues, including VPN clients, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet connectivity. ● Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote desktop support tools. ● Strong problem-solving and communication skills. ● Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Desirable Skills: ● Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic user account management. ● Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) and supporting mobile devices (iOS, Android). ● Understanding of cybersecurity best practices. ● ITIL certification is a plus. Education: ● High school diploma or equivalent required. ● Associate's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is advantageous.

Contract : 3-6 months
