Lexdan Select is assisting a business based in the Cape Winelands with their search for a Mechanical Design Engineer.

Then role offers between R400k - R600k p.a

Duties:

  • Assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with acknowledged manufacturing standards.
  • Issues revisions and updates the manufacturing drawings, material lists and machine manuals.
  • Lay-out drawing of customer manufacturing area.
  • Compiles part specifications, BOM's, production orders and manuals.
  • Produces efficient designs within the framework of simplicity, feasibility, cost efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement engineering change proposals (ECP's) on designs.
  • Drafting of P&ID.
  • Provides technical support during manufacturing processes and for technicians on-site.

Requirements:

  • Degree / Btech Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years experience
  • Team player, self-starter and highly motivated
  • Must be competent in 3D CAD machine design.
