Dr. Oetker South Africa is looking for a talented Stock Controller Clerk to join our team.

As a Stock Controller Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with managing and overseeing the inventory control process for the organisation and ensuring that inventory is properly stored and organised. ​

WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS

  • Verify that the waste information provided by production is accurate and investigate if there are any discrepancies.​
  • Ensure that Daily Waste Report is completed by 8:30.​
  • Complete end of shift MRP report on a daily basis.​
  • Reconcile physical and system stock movement.​
  • Investigate variances between the system count and physical count.​
  • Keep track of stock levels and their use by dates.​
  • Manufacture on the system what production has produced for the day.​
  • Conduct walk abouts in the factory to identify any irregularities related to raw materials within production. ​
  • Conduct and capture stock count.​
  • Share weekly usages report with controlling and production teams​
  • Stand in for the Factory Controller when absent.​
  • Assist Factory Controller with Adhoc duties.

Ideal Competencies Of The Candidate

  • Sound Microsoft Office Skills, emphasis on Excel.​
  • An understanding of Sage/ERP system.​
  • Data capturing.​
  • Excellent communication skills.​
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.​
  • Ability to work independently within a team context.​
  • Able to apply professional scepticism.​
  • Thorough understanding of how to calculate and investigate variances and waste.

Minimum Required Experience & Qualification

  • Grade 12. NQF Level 6 in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, and Finance would be an advantage.​
  • Previous experience in a similar role and organisation would be an advantage.​
  • Thorough understanding of stock rotation, expiry dates, and limiting stock losses would be an advantage.
