What will you do?
Data Analysis

• Collect, clean, and preprocess raw data from various sources
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business objectives
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and investigations to discover hidden patterns
• Creating and updating process documentation for new and existing processes
• Design and mapping of new processes
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, contribute to data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data policies
• Establish and maintain data quality standards
• Contribute to data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data policies
• Requirements gathering for new or existing projects

Static Data Maintenance

• Updating client records for new information and/or changes in circumstances
• Assist with extracting / reporting on client static data and periodic reviews of static account data
• Engaging with internal stakeholders on queries related to client and account static data

Instrument Maintenance

• Assist with creating offshore instruments on internal back office systems
• Monitor pricing of offshore instruments, including resolving pricing exceptions
• Respond to queries and investigations related to instruments and pricing
• Collect, clean and reprocess raw data from various sources and ensure data accuracy, completeness and integrity
• Collaborate with the data function, IT teams and other relevant stakeholders in conducting testing and implementing requirements for projects

Qualifcation and experience

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Economics
• 3-5 years experience in financial services industry

Knowledge and skills

• Extensive financial services / stockbroking experience required, especially of the private client business environment
• Deep understanding of international financial markets and market data in terms of instruments, pricing and corporate actions
• Knowledge of KYC and AML legislation and regulations applicable to onboarding new clients
