Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Ladybrand or Bloemfontein (regular travel to Maseru; limited sleep-outs)

About the Role

Our Company is seeking a detail-driven specialist to manage the full virtuous cycle across purchasing, pricing, supplier negotiations, stock accuracy and operational reporting. The role requires strong analytical skill, system capability and a firm understanding of how commercial decisions impact the broader supply chain and sales cycle. Procurement will form an essential part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing and Pricing

· Manage product purchases and ensure accurate pricing on all systems

· Implement and maintain price updates, promotional pricing and deal structures

· Ensure alignment between pricing, margin targets and business objectives

Supplier Negotiations, Customer and Deal Management

· Engage with suppliers on costs, terms, deals and service levels

· Drive negotiations that support business profitability and strategic direction

· Maintain up-to-date records on agreements, promotion grids and deal cycles

· Understand mark-up management

Virtuous Cycle and ERP Stock Systems

· Maintain accurate stock levels on the system and ensure proper cycle alignment

· Identify discrepancies and resolve issues across purchasing, stock and sales links

· Support demand planning and replenishment decisions

· Reverse logistics expertise and accounting thereof

Reporting and Insights

· Produce clear, accurate reporting on pricing, stock, purchasing and cycle performance

· Provide insights that guide operational decisions and commercial strategy

· Highlight risks, variances and improvement opportunities

Stakeholder Engagement

· Work closely with internal teams (finance, sales, warehouse, management)

· Liaise professionally with external suppliers and partners

· Ensure smooth communication across all touchpoints in the cycle

Requirements

· Degree in business, supply chain, finance or related field

· Minimum 5 years experience in a similar analytical or commercial operations role

· Strong system knowledge and high proficiency with data and reporting tools

· Detail-orientated with excellent numerical accuracy

· Solid understanding of the virtuous cycle from purchasing through to sales

· Able to guide business strategy through data-backed insights

· Strong interpersonal skills for internal and external engagement

· Based in Ladybrand or Bloemfontein

· Able to travel as required within SADC and beyond

· Vast experience in stock management and procurement

· B2B experience

· Forecasting experience

· Valid driver's license
