Junior Solutions Architect
to join our client in the banking sector. This is a
hybrid
role based in
Johannesburg
.

As a Junior Solutions Architect, you will work closely with senior architects and engineering teams to design, develop, and implement technology solutions aligned with business needs. This role is ideal for a
technically minded graduate
or
early-career
professional eager to grow into a full Solutions Architect role through mentorship, project exposure, and structured development.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings a mix of technical expertise, creative thinking, and strong collaboration skills. Ideally, you'll have:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms particularly AWS
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript or .NET
  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive, self-starting attitude
  • Strong analytical skills and a creative approach to problem solving
  • Confidence in communicating with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in technically complex and high-demand environments
  • Creative thinker and the ability to grasp concepts quickly and apply to the wider overall perspective
  • Resilience and the ability to perform under pressure
  • An understanding of the financial services industry
  • 1+ year of experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
