Your personality

  • National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (NQF Level 6) or Electrical Mechanical trade qualified Trade.

  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).

  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance planning experience in a heavy maintenance environment

  • Strong knowledge of equipment and machinery

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the Automotive Industry

Your opportunity

  • Work closely with business users to develop and implement an EAM roadmap across the organization.

  • Contribute to the development, enhancement, and upkeep of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)

  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules for all equipment and machinery in the mining operation

  • Coordinate maintenance activities with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of work orders

  • Monitor and track maintenance performance metrics and identify areas for improvement

  • Forecast and plan for maintenance requirements, including labor, materials, and equipment

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities

  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize maintenance processes and improve equipment reliability

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance activities

  • Review and assess emergency and preventative maintenance activities for continuous improvement and to ensure efficient maintenance staff allocation, stock keeping of spares and minimize downtime.

  • Assist the Maintenance Engineer with the planning and execution of projects,
