Job requirements

What we expect

We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong management consulting skills to strengthen our South African-based team. In particular, we expect:

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, preferably in Financial Services

  • Experience with the delivery of high-priority projects, and ability to deliver innovative solutions under tight timelines and under pressurized conditions

  • Ability to structure complex tasks in a goal-oriented way, conduct effective root-cause analyses and quickly bring themselves up to speed with new content

  • Strong presentation skills and an ability to effectively and credibly communicate with senior and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience with leading more junior team members with the execution of project tasks

  • A keen interest in supporting business development and advancing the commercial success of our firm by nurturing and growing personal client relationships and networks, and contributing to commercial proposals

  • Competent in data analyses and financial modelling

  • Post graduate Risk, Finance, Statistical, Actuarial or Quantitative qualification or similar on-the-job experience

  • An indicative list of topics where pertinent experience would be considered a plus include:

  • Business case development, market analysis and research

  • Financial planning and modelling

  • Efficiency management and cost allocation

  • Payments, digital banking, challenger banks

  • Process optimisation (financial, credit, and business processes)

  • Treasury, investment banking and markets
