Minimum Requirements:

NQF Level 4 qualification in Supervision of Civil Engineering Construction Processes

(SAQA Qualification ID: 23682, or equivalent)

Accredited Labour-Intensive Construction (LIC) training certificate aligned with the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) requirements.

Minimum 5 years' experience in civil works projects (roads, pipelines, stormwater, or related).

Proven ability to supervise and coordinate labour-intensive site operations.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Valid driver's licence and willingness to work on-site full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities and site labour.

Implement and monitor labour-intensive construction methods in line with EPWP guidelines.

Minimum 8–10 years' experience managing civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary site teams and subcontractors.

Good understanding of cost control, planning, and quality management.

Registration with SACPCMP or ECSA (advantageous).

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all site operations and technical activities.

Plan, execute, and control labour-intensive construction processes in compliance with EPWP and tender specifications.

Supervise foremen, subcontractors, and site labour.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Prepare progress reports and liaise with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders.
