Job description

We are a well-established and rapidly expanding international publisher and media sales agency with a proven track record across multiple continents. We are looking to add a Research Assistant to join our team in Cape Town.

Essential skills, behaviour and knowledge required:

· Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, including the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while working on numerous tasks

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment

· Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision

· Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude

· Reliable and honest

· Professional

· Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)

· Fully computer literate and strong knowledge of MS Office package – with a specific focus on Excel

Responsibilities:

· Research information for our publications (telephone, email and internet research)

· Complete reports on Excel

· Collate large volumes of data accurately and within tight deadlines

· Manage filing system

· Assist in administration work relating to order processing and the printing of our publications

· Assisting management and the office administrator with ad hoc duties as required

Location

This is an OFFICE BASED role in Cape Town CBD

Salary

R10,000 to R12,500 depending on experience.
