A dynamic and fast-paced organisation, based in the Cape Town CBD, is currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. The ideal candidate will hold a BCom, CIMA, AGA(SA), or equivalent qualification, with 2–3 years of solid accounting experience. This role offers exposure to multi-entity reporting, revenue, sales, and foreign currency transactions, making it perfect for a detail-oriented professional looking to broaden their financial reporting expertise in a complex environment.

This opportunity suits a hands-on, analytical individual who thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-moving team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for multiple entities.
  • Perform reconciliations and manage general ledger processes.
  • Handle FOREX transactions, sales, and revenue recognition.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Support audit processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • BCom Accounting or CIMA.
  • Minimum 2–3 years accounting experience in a similar role.
  • Experience managing multiple entities.
  • Strong exposure to FOREX, revenue, and sales accounting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
