PURPOSE

The principal purpose of the Network Specialist is to provide persistent support of the networked ecosystem of PayInc and provide consultancy support associated to the networked environment to PayInc clients.

  • Cloud Infrastructure Department
  • Your key responsibilities include:
  • Network Architecture
  • Design vs. operation functionality
  • Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure(ACI)
  • Cisco Software defined networking(SDN)
  • Container (micro-services) networking
  • Cloud networking
  • Network Configuration & Support (Firewalls, Switches, Routers, WAN, LAN, Spanning Tree,
  • Protocols, IPS, Proxies, Load Balancers, Web Application Firewalls, Access control, VPN, Logging,
  • Monitoring, Capacity Planning, System hardening techniques, Compression, Voice Recording
  • mediums, Sniffer technologies, PEN Testing, Video Conferencing, Voice)
  • Networked support (All devices that connect to a network and how they influence the network and how the network influences them.)
  • Alignment to PCI requirements
  • Ability to understand and apply security principles across the network
  • Understanding, aligning and executing against divisional business strategy
  • In-depth understanding of Networking products
  • Change control
  • Incident and Risk management
  • Project management
  • Understanding of system integration
  • Cross technology integration

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE

  • Appropriate certification, diploma and/or degree in Information Technology
  • Certification in networking will be advantage – CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
  • Knowledge of the Financial/Cloud Ecosystem advantageous

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in related field.
  • Experience in networking technologies, preferably cross platforms, i.e. software defined networking, container networking, cloud networking, security, routing and switching, load balancers, web application firewalls, voice, storage.

SKILLS

  • Excellent Technical and Non-Technical communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team and to be part of a team
  • Good reasoning and decision-making skills
  • The ability to work under extreme pressure
  • Experience in cloud computing - Deploys, debugs, and executes initiatives related to cloud computing
  • Cross vendor experience required
