Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a Tax Administrator with strong attention to detail and a structured work approach.
This is an administrative position focused on managing, tracking, and communicating client tax matters efficiently — not on providing tax opinions or technical advice.
You'll play a key role in supporting the tax department, maintaining compliance, and ensuring seamless communication between clients and SARS.
Key Responsibilities:Communicate directly with clients regarding their tax assessments, objections, and related queries.
Prepare and submit documentation for SARS objection and appeal procedures.
Use internal systems to monitor and reconcile tax assessments with SARS.
Provide feedback to clients and follow up where SARS requests additional information.
Ensure all administrative processes are completed accurately and within deadlines.
Handle filing, data entry, and other office-related administrative tasks.
National Senior Certificate (Matric).
1–2 years of experience in a tax or financial administration environment
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
Basic understanding of tax processes and SARS systems (eFiling experience beneficial).
- Computer literacy and experience with tax-related platforms or software are advantageous.
Own transport and valid driver's license.
Accurate, reliable, and professional.
Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans & English).
Process-oriented and organized.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Discreet and ethical in handling confidential information.

Oorsig van die Rol:
Ons kliënt is op soek na 'n gestruktureerde en detailgerigte Belastingadministrateur.
Hierdie rol is administratief van aard en fokus op die doeltreffende hantering, opvolging en kommunikasie rondom kliënte se belastingaangeleenthede — nie op die opstel van belastingopinies of tegniese advies nie.
As deel van 'n professionele span sal jy 'n belangrike rol speel in die ondersteuning van die belastingafdeling, die handhawing van akkuraatheid in belastingprosesse en die bestuur van kliëntekommunikasie met SARS.
Hoofverantwoordelikhede:Direkte kommunikasie met kliënte oor belastingaanslae, besware en algemene belastingnavrae.
Verwerking en indiening van dokumentasie rakende SARS se beswaar- en appèlprosedures.
Gebruik van die firma se interne stelsels om belastingaanslae met SARS te monitor en te rekonsilieer.
Opvolg met kliënte waar verdere inligting of dokumentasie benodig word.
Verseker dat alle prosesse akkuraat en betyds afgehandel word volgens interne prosedures.
Basiese administratiewe take soos lêerwerk, data-invoer en kommunikasiehantering.
Nasionale Senior Sertifikaat (Graad 12).
1–2 jaar ervaring in 'n belasting- of finansiële administrasie-omgewing
Sterk administratiewe en organisatoriese vaardighede.
Goeie kennis van MS Office (veral Excel en Outlook).
Basiese begrip van belastingprosesse en SARS-stelsels (e.g. eFiling) voordelig.
Rekenaargeletterdheid en ervaring met belastingverwante platforms of sagteware is voordelig.
Eie vervoer en geldige bestuurslisensie.
Akkuraat, betroubaar en professioneel.
Uitstekende kommunikasievaardighede (Afrikaans en Engels).
Prosesgedrewe en goed georganiseer.
Selfstandig, maar ook spanvaardig.
Diskreet en eties in die hantering van kliëntinligting.
