As we continue to grow, RCL FOODS is searching for an IT Executive with a strong Data, Analytics, Business and IT background to join our team. This position will be based at our National Office in Westville, Durban and report to the Digital & Information Director.
This role will lead and drive information technology strategy and execution to enable business growth, competitive advantage and digital transformation as part of the IT Executive Leadership Team and in deep and successful collaboration with stakeholders. They lead the enterprise data, analytics, and AI strategy with accountability for our robust data governance framework. They champion our growing Insight Driven capabilities through advanced analytics and AI, integrating data capabilities into digital transformation programs and collaborating with business leaders to embed data-driven decision-making throughout the business.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesStrategic Impact: Be at the heart of shaping strategy and setting the direction to leverage data as a strategic asset, aligning actions with business objectives
Innovation & Technology: Lead the development and deployment of data & AI solutions and accelerate insights driven growth
Growth & Influence: Step change the competitive advantage for the business from data and insights through trusted partnership and judgement
Collaboration: Effectively partner with diverse providers to access new skills and technologies to meet evolving needs.
- Honours Degree in Information Technology or Business Management is required
- Master's degree is preferred
- A minimum of years' experience is required in a similar field with at least 5 years in senior management capacity
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, data governance, and cloud computing.

- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, network infrastructure, and software development.
- Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
