Senior Laboratory Technician

What you will enjoy doing

  • As a technician, you will perform analyses of gas mixtures related to composition and compliance that fall within the scope of accreditation, following best procedure
  • Ensure that reliable and accurate results are always generated
  • You perform 100% review of the data generated before entering on LIMS and submitting for secondary level review
  • Report all non-conformance situations, instrument problems, matrix problems and QC failures
  • Conduct stability trials for calibration gases
  • Furthermore, you calculate analysis results on Xgenline or Dinest

What makes you great

  • You possess a university degree in Chemistry or B Tech in Analytical Chemistry, and you have already gained at least 3 to 5 years of experience in laboratory environment
  • You have advanced knowledge of laboratory instruments such as GC, UV and FTIR
  • You will have sound organizational ability with the capacity to work individually or within the team on many tasks concurrently.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You have strong will to work overtime
