We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
As a Project Lead and Consultant in SAP's DMLT team, you will lead the delivery of the data migration and transformation workstream in strategic customer projects. You'll combine hands-on consulting expertise with strong project leadership to ensure smooth execution, alignment, and customer satisfaction throughout all phases of the engagement.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and managing the DMLT (Data Management and Landscape Transformation) workstream within complex SAP transformation projects — ensuring scope, timeline, quality, and budget are achieved
- Acting as the main point of contact for all DMLT topics and orchestrating collaboration across Solution Architects, teams, and global stakeholders
- Defining and tracking project activities, deliverables, and resource needs across the full lifecycle
- Managing scope, risks, issues, and change requests to ensure controlled execution and formal sign-off at key milestones
- Driving stakeholder communication and alignment between SAP, customer, and partner teams
- Overseeing cutover preparation and execution for DMLT scope and ensuring project closure activities are completed
What you bring
- 3–7 years of experience in SAP consulting, or delivery of data migration and transformation projects
- Solid understanding of SAP system landscapes, data migration approaches, and transformation methodologies (ideally within S/4HANA transition programs)
- Proven experience in leading project workstreams or full projects, preferably in multi-country or large-scale SAP transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with project management standards and ability to apply them practically
- Hands-on experience with SAP migration tools and methods (e.g., Migration Cockpit, Data Services) is a strong plus
- High-level business process understanding across Finance, Logistics, or HR
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English; additional languages (especially German) are an asset
- High level of self-motivation, ownership, and accountability
- Willingness to travel (10–30%) across EMEA and occasionally globally
Where you belong
You'll join Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT), a global organization within SAP's Customer Service & Delivery board area, with more than 500 consultants worldwide. Our mission is to enable customers to intelligently connect people, data, and processes — ensuring data becomes a true asset for innovation and sustainable growth.
DMLT offers a holistic approach to data-related needs, covering data quality, integration, and transformation. We help customers fast-track migrations, manage complex transformations, and optimize processes for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Business Data Cloud, and beyond.
You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values innovation, learning, and career progression. Expect exposure to cutting-edge technologies, global projects, and opportunities to shape SAP's transformation engine.
