Overview:

Our international client is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure and ICT solutions for clients. The successful candidate will focus on network setup, security, cloud integration, and IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performance systems. Strong problem-solving, technical expertise, and professional client communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage network infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
  • Setup, configure, and maintain firewalls (preferably Sophos) and network security solutions.
  • Manage and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and VPNs.
  • Support and maintain cloud architectures (Azure), hosted servers, and backup solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Implement and manage patching, RMM solutions, and endpoint security tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, and connectivity issues efficiently.
  • Document network configurations, policies, and IT processes.
  • Provide professional, client-facing support and advice.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in network engineering or ICT infrastructure.
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in ICT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, LAN/WAN, VPNs, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Experience with cloud-based networking solutions (Azure or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with endpoint security, patch management, and RMM tools.
  • Troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent)
  • Firewall certifications (Sophos or equivalent)
  • Azure or cloud services certifications
  • CompTIA A+ / N+
  • Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Certification
  • VMware or virtualization experience
