Sales Manager
to join our team. This role is ideal for an aviation-passionate individual who has experience managing a sales team and is eager to help drive the continued growth of the Sling brand worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Sales Department to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Oversee the customer journey from enquiry through delivery, ensuring an exceptional level of service and communication.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments within the company to align sales activities with operational capabilities.
  • Produce accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market analyses for senior management.
  • Coach, mentor, and manage the performance of the sales team to maintain a high-performance culture.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Experienced pilot with a strong understanding of general aviation and light sport aircraft.
  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Process-driven with the ability to design, implement, and optimise sales workflows and customer pipelines.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation, reporting, and customer communication.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a diverse sales team.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in a Sales Manager or Senior Sales role, ideally within aviation, manufacturing, or high-value technical products.

  • A strong track record of meeting sales targets and driving growth.
