Position Overview

We're looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our small team on a part-time or temporary-to-permanent basis. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable designing across digital and print formats. You'll work closely with our team to develop visuals that align with each brand's unique identity and message.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create visually engaging designs for social media posts, brand assets, and other marketing materials.
  • Design company portfolios, presentations, and print-ready materials such as business cards, letterheads, and email signatures.
  • Assist in developing brand identity suites, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Design and prepare artwork for large-format printing (e.g., banners, signage, display materials) - advantageous.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain design standards and brand cohesion.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Strong sense of layout, typography, and visual balance.
  • Understanding of branding principles and ability to apply them across mediums.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently on design briefs.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Basic knowledge of print processes and preparing files for print - advantageous.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with large-format design (e.g., exhibition banners, signage).
  • Photography editing skills.
  • Interest in conservation, tourism, outdoor industries, and culture.

Contract Type

  • Part-time or temporary-to-permanent.
  • Fully remote work.
