Football Content Creator – Session Plans, Animated Drills

We are looking for a football coaching content specialist to create high-quality training materials, including session plans, animated drill videos, and edited training footage.

Your role is to develop structured coaching content, ensuring all materials are well-organised, professional, and engaging for coaches and players. You must have strong football knowledge, excellent English writing skills, and the ability to edit video content for our new football coaching website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create structured football session plans for different coaching levels (beginner to advanced).

  • Design animated football drills using Tactical Pad or a similar tool to visually demonstrate training exercises.

  • Edit and organise training footage – clip and enhance raw training videos for easy upload.

  • Write detailed drill explanations with clear objectives, key coaching points, and variations.

  • Upload and categorise content within WordPress, ensuring it's easy to navigate. (desirable)

  • Write blog content related to football coaching strategies, tactics, and player development.

  • Ensure all content is well-organised, visually appealing, and easy to understand for coaches.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Football Coaching Knowledge – Strong understanding of training drills, player development, and tactics.

  • Content Writing – Ability to write clear, structured session plans and coaching guides in fluent, professional English.

  • Animation & Tactical Drill Creation – Experience using Tactical Pad or similar tools to create dynamic, checkered-style drill animations.

  • Video Editing – Ability to edit raw training footage, create highlight clips, and overlay text or graphics.

  • WordPress Proficiency – Must be able to upload, categorise, and manage football content in WordPress. (desirable)

  • Attention to Detail & Organisation – Ensuring all training materials are well-structured and professional.

Work Requirements:

  • Must have strong football coaching experience and knowledge of coaching principles.

  • Experience with video editing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).

  • Clear communication – Must be responsive via WhatsApp.

Pay: R15 775,00 - R17 145,00 per month
