Operations Manager – Waste-to-Energy

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee all incoming product streams in a waste-to-energy facility. This role focuses on the processing of waste material into biofuels/biofill products while ensuring smooth daily operations and compliance with service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate the receipt, handling, and processing of incoming waste material.

Oversee conversion of product into biofuel/biofill according to company standards.

Maintain and improve operational workflows, safety protocols, and quality control.

Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to achieve production targets.

Prepare operational reports and liaise with senior management on performance metrics.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and contractual obligations (SLA).

Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth supply chain operations.

Requirements

10–15 years' proven operations management experience, preferably in waste-to-energy, recycling, manufacturing, or industrial processing.

Strong communication, leadership, and administrative skills.

Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.

High level of problem-solving and decision-making ability.
