The Balance Group in Cape Town is a movement centre that offers physiotherapy, biokinetics, personal training, yoga, and massage through a team-based approach. The team regularly collaborates to develop the best treatment approach for a wide variety of injuries, pain issues, women's health and sports improvement goals.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Physiotherapist at The Balance Group in Cape Town. The Senior Physiotherapist will be responsible for conducting physiotherapy assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, implementing therapeutic exercises, and providing hands-on manual therapy techniques to clients. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with other therapists and contributing to the overall treatment approach. We have a strong emphasis of treating curve specific and are looking for someone keen to learn more in this area. Onsite training and mentorship will be provided.

Ideally the candidate has women's health experience or a keen interest in developing their expertise in this area

Qualifications

• Expertise in physiotherapy assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic exercises
• Minimum 5 years of experience
  , ideally with a strong emphasis on musculo-sceletal conditions.
• Proficiency in hands-on manual therapy techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• A keen interest in women's health, ideally with a minimum of 2 years experience.
• Experience in treating a diverse range of injuries and sports-related conditions
• Knowledge of holistic approaches to treatment
• Relevant certification and licensure in physiotherapy for South Africa. HPCSA registration required. Any application without HPCSA registration will be ignored

Hiring Date

We are hiring for 1st March 2026 Our women's health physiotherapist is going on maternity leave. but we want to keep the new physiotherapist even after the return from maternity leave.
