Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site tutoring role based in Pretoria East.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective tutoring sessions in CAT ( Computer Application Technology) to students in Grade 9 to 12 on a consistent basis.

The role goes beyond academic instruction, it requires patience, enthusiasm, and a willingness to become a positive role model.

Tutors will be expected to support younger learners by simplifying complex topics, promoting foundational literacy and comprehension skills, and nurturing a love for learning through interactive and age-appropriate methods.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in CAT IEB Curriculum
  • Experience in tutoring or teaching Afrikaans preferably
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create engaging and personalized learning experiences
  • Patience and understanding in working with students
  • Knowledge of the Grade 8-12 IEB CAT curriculum
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT or relevant field is a plus
  • Matriculation of 75% to 100%
