As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a seasoned Head of Compliance Manager to lead our compliance efforts and ensure our operations align with all applicable laws and regulations. What you’ll do Lead and oversee the bank’s compliance function across the groupImplement a comprehensive Compliance Risk Management Plan (CRMP)Design, implement, and monitor governance, AML & CTF, POPI Act, Cyber Crime Legislation, consumer protection, and other relevant mutual banking legislationEnsure timely preparation and submission of regulatory compliance reportsDevelop, maintain, and enhance internal control systems, procedures, and policiesCreate compliance review plans, conduct reviews across business units, and draft thorough reportsTrack and report non-compliance, monitor progress on corrective actions, and prevent recurrenceReview and update monitoring plans for applicable legislation within the regulatory universeIdentify potential compliance vulnerabilities and implement corrective action plansMaintain strategic and operational registers in line with legislation and internal processesEnsure customer-facing documentation remains compliant with current lawsDevelop and deliver training modules and programs to educate staff and customers, as required by lawCollaborate with Legal & Compliance stakeholders to resolve customer complaints and support corporate governanceProvide regular reports and updates to the Chief Risk Officer Qualifications: Legal, Financial Markets, or related degree (Master’s degree preferred)Accredited compliance-related certificationFAIS registered Experience: 10+ years of compliance experience in bankingStrong knowledge of:Corporate GovernanceAML & CTFPOPI ActCybercrime legislationConsumer protection and related banking regulationsDemonstrated ability to design and implement robust compliance frameworksExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment Why join enl Bank?
