**E-Commerce Manager**

We are currently seeking to employ an experienced eCommerce Manager to oversee the team and all day-to-day aspects of the various eCommerce businesses in the chain.

Having been trading for 60 years, Tafelberg Furnishers is a well-established retail brand that prides itself on its family values and exceptional customer service. An opportunity has now opened up for an eCommerce Manager that will lead our various eCommerce platforms as we build out an extended offering.

**Before you apply, this is what is important to us and what we expect from you**:

- Have previously been involved in a leadership role in an eCommerce environment.
- Worked on or assisted with retail eCommerce system integrations and implementations from concept to execution.
- Have a good understanding and technical knowledge of the various digital marketing platforms.
- Have a merchant background with a broad understanding of the various general merchandise categories we trade in.
- Have an understanding of supply chain and the various players in the logistics industry.
- Have the ability to build, interpret and present reports of progress and forecasts to the leadership team, and be able to execute thereafter on brief.
- Have working knowledge of Google Analytics
- Have experience in Project Management
- Will preparing reports for the management committee and directors of the business
- Have proven experience in managing a team

Outside of the above, and to be successful in this role, you should have a passion for anything retail, have a high attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude in building relationships, excellent organisational skills and be comfortable being hands-on when required.

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- similar eCommerce: 4 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (preferred)
