Who are we?

The Group's four business clusters (Sanlam Life and Savings, Sanlam Investment Group, Sanlam Emerging Markets and Santam) house the Group's business operations. The Group Office provides strategic direction and support to the four clusters, assisting them in realising their strategies and meeting their business objectives. The Group Office is responsible for governance and for the Group's centralised functions, which include: Finance, Actuarial and Risk Management, Strategy, Human Resources, Market Development and Brand Services.
What will you do?
This role exists in the Group Brand & Marketing team and you will assist with Brand Management tasks, mostly related to corporate identity and Intellectual Property management. What will make you successful in this role?
You will be successful if you have an eye for detail as you will need to be able to assess work received against brand standards. If you are a good communicator, you will be able to engage with your client to gain a better understanding of their need in order to find a workable solution and to advise in a manner that is clearly understood on any amendments that may be necessary.
You need to work closely with and under guidance from the Corporate Assistant Brand Manager to support her with ad hoc events or campaigns. Being task-orientated and having good administrative skills will stand you in good stead as you will also need to assist with the management of trade mark and domain name requests and renewals and keep record of requests and cancellations. Qualification and Experience
You will need to have passed Grade 12 and a Marketing or Brand Management qualification. Knowledge and Skills
Processing transactions and conduct simple calculations
Data collection and analysis
Record keeping, filing and maintenance of databases
Maintain work standards and quality verification
Must have knowledge of Marketing and Brand Management principles
Knowledgeable in administration and reporting
Good communication skills
Able to demonstrate business principles
