Sales Representative

Pharmaceutical Sales Representative required to manage Durban area.
Duties not limited to:
- To manage the territory by planning, organizing and targeting customers to achieve set Qualitative and Quantitative
targets
- Independent Pharmacies: Quantitative sales call to sell / Qualitative Call focused on Training Pharmacists
- Qualitative Call focused on Training Vitamin Managers and Isle Staff ,
- Quantitative sales call to sell / Qualitative Call focused on Training Pharmacists
- Doctor’s and Dentist: Qualitative sales call to promote
- To effectively promote and sell the designated products to customers by utilizing selling skills and product
knowledge
- Implement sales and marketing strategies
- To grow the business in your area as measured by increased sales against set targets
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
? Solid sales and new business development track record
? Strong Consultative selling Skills
? Strong communication skills

? Confident
? Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual
Must have:
? Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence
? Matric
? Experience in pharmaceutical industry would be beneficial
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Achieve and exceed set Qualitative and Quantitative targets
? Effectively manage the territory by means of planning, territory analysis, and targeting and call coverage of
customers
? To conduct a sales evaluation and sales call on independent pharmacies in the assigned region
? To implement an 80 / 20 targeting approach on assigned customer base
? To develop and focus on the A, B, and C call list using Medpages database
? Ensure an effective implementation of set sales and marketing strategies
? To achieve the set standard of knowledge regarding the territory, customer, promoted product and
competitor products
? Ensure that the activities at all times comply with relevant legislation, ethical standards and company
policies
? Real time and full use of Repwise and SSD system to ensure operational effectiveness
? To report timeously all operational field issues
? To manage expenses effectively to ensure growth in region, all expenses for the month to be submitted by
the 25th of every month
? To sell across the range
? To report on market and competitor activity in region
? To initiate and implement marketing activities at Independent Pharmacies and Doctors after approval of
campaign from Sales Manager / Ops Manager and MD
? To achieve a call rate average of 9 Pharmacies and 1 Doctors / Dentists per day as measured on Repwise
? To be able to effectively communicate technical knowledge of the company’s product range in order to
influence the habits of the targeted customer in the assigned territory;
? Ensure day-to-day flow of information of competitor activities and general company transactions via
technology-based tools supplied by the company
? To grow and develop new business thereby building up a solid customer base
? Manage the territory to achieve service level requirements in a cost-efficient manner
? Be present at team meetings;
? Provide daily reports/feedback as and when require
