Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for a Recruiter to join our Mining business in South Africa on a short term contract basis.

**Job Objective**:

- Headhunting for open requests
- Confirming interviews with applicants and sitting in as P&O representative

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Following up with Hiring Managers on applicants submitted for review
- Following up with Hiring Managers on applicants interviewed
- Reference checks on applicants moving forward
- Verification checks on applicants hired
- Create Wood Corporate CV’s of new hires
- Review manpower plans with line for next 3-6 months and create an action plan
- Create a database of skilled “available” resourcing for both sectors
- Prepare recruitment stats weekly to P&O Director

Skills / Qualifications:
**Qualifications**:

- Matric Certificate
- Human Resources Diploma

**Knowledge, skills and experience**:

- Minimum 2 years experience in a recruitment function
- Proven track record of using Social Media to attract talent
- Experience of using automated tracking systems, ideally ICIMS
