Our client currently had an opportunity for an Exports Salesman who has pump or mechanical seal experience together with 5-10 years technical experience with technical sales.
Position details:
The export salesman will report to the Exports Manager and will be responsible for:
Calling on countries in Africa
Technical sales and product recommendations to customers
Achieving sales targets set for the area
Identify and grow key accounts
Preparation of quotations
Manage sales contribution and increase turnover
Market intelligence and research
Basic management of large orders from initial purchase order through delivery
Manage key accounts effectively
Sustain customer relations and provide clear direction
Any other tasks specified in pursuance of the company’s objectives

Location (country, city): Edenvale, Gauteng

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Matric & Sales/Technical qualification
Pump or mechanical seal experience
5-10 years technical experience with technical sales
Must be able to work at heights
Must have previously travelled into African countries
Proficient in MS Office
Good communication skills in English
Prepared to travel into Africa
Friendly manner, well-groomed and presentable
