**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Excellent and updated knowledge of INCOTERMS
- Minimum of 2- 4 years working experience in a similar role in the Freight Industry
- Must have experience in Import/Export (Air & Sea Freight) within an estimator role
- Familiar with Customs Tariffs and Port Charges
- Fully Computer Literate in all MS Office Suite Applications
- Previous working experience on Cargo Wise will be advantageous
- Strong administration skills
- Analytical and love for numerical problem solving
- Own reliable transport/transport arrangements

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Registering incoming estimate requests and responding in order of urgency and complexity
- Following up on estimates and measuring success
- Liaise with various clients, shipping lines, Agent, Port Authorities, Customs and Transporters
- Consult with internal departments i.e., Operations, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure accurate follow through of costing and feedback to relevant parties
- Obtain best rates through liaison with various Airlines, Shipping Agents, and Overseas Agents
- Advising clients on viable transport and product option
- Ensure all Imports, Exports and Cost Estimates for Air, Ocean, Road and Over Border Freight are completed timeously and accurately
- Negotiate best terms/pricing for maximum company profitability
- Manage all relevant documentation with regards to containers, breakbulk and LCL cargo
- Report directly to the Procurement Team leader
