**Main Purpose of the Job**:
The PSM division in Cape Town currently has vacancy for a Channel Manager, reporting to the Head of Sales. The Channel Sales Manager will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders within the Mweb Reseller and Direct Sales Force Channel and will be responsible for proactively selling various products and services to ISPs and telecommunication providers.
They will represent the Mweb Reseller and Direct Sales Force products and services to assigned accounts. The primary objective will be to take responsibility for managing the Mweb Reseller and Direct Sales Force channel and ensure its contribution to the achievement of the sales strategy.
**Job Output**:
- Strategy
- Align to the sales strategy ensuring strategic objectives are met
- Ensure that sales procedures and policies as defined by the sales leadership are implemented and followed
- Support and contribute to the development of the Reseller strategy in line with the overarching business goals
- Ensure effective implementation of the strategy by means of executing direction, frameworks, models, plans and roadmaps
- Creating and sustaining sales performance
- Work with various Mweb business units and departments, to build channel programs, communications, products and portal functionalities
- Assist with implementation of strategic sales plans, ensuring they are in alignment with business objectives
- Channel Management
- Planning and developing customer proposals, overseeing account profiles, monitoring competitor activity and drive effective communications with the channel and to resellers
- Implementing and executing strategic plans for growing Mweb Reseller market share
- Meeting and exceeding performance targets, productivity and quality benchmarks within the the Mweb Reseller channel
- Responsible for pipeline management and accurate forecasting and the development of approaches in order to maintain healthy pipelines
- Implementation effective performance management processes within Reseller teams
- Develop annual sales plans and manage monthly and quarterly reporting and forecasting processes to channel performance
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and Reseller and Channel best practices
- Using Reseller performance data, analyse trends pertaining to the effectiveness of sales and channel operations, and benchmark effective performance
- Operational
- Implement and fine-tune methods, processes, systems and solutions to enhance Resellers effectiveness and Cost of Sale and meet organisational goals
- Ability to multitask and ensure resolution of escalations, internal and external, and ensure effective communication with other departments
- Acts as the final point of escalation and resolves internal and external Reseller related issues

- Knowledge of the ISP industry and products essential

Qualifications:
- Matric / Grade 12 essential - Degree preferable
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 5 years proving experience in ISP sales
- Customer service experience
- Relevant 2 - 5 year experience managing resellers / partners
