**Requirements**:

- Industry experience in cross border logistics and freight forwarding essential
- Experience with reviewing truck manifests, bills of lading, POD’s and other customs documents essential
- Strong MS Excel skills essential
- Strong systems knowledge
- Process orientated with a good attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to priorities tasks in fast changing environment
- Must be able to work under pressure and adhere to aggressive deadlines
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in transport administration, reviewing customs documents, rates management, project reviews and issuing purchase orders to vendors
- Strong communicaton

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Input transport data into the system
- Review project PnL
- Review truck tracking reports & analyse cargo movements
- Settlement proposals are issued to vendors accurately and on time
- Perform quality review audits on projects completed

**Transport project management**:

- Ensure that projects are correctly set up within the system in terms of project SOPs & Quotations
- Review truck data received from sites and upload data into system
- Ensure that sell & buy rates charged agree to quotations and authorized price lists
- Review all PODs and related documents for completeness and accuracy before invoicing
- Issue purchase Settlement Proposals (i.e. purchase orders) to vendors (transporters, warehouses etc.) once services rendered
- Upload supporting documents into online document management system
- Review of projects and submit to finance team for invoicing
- Ensure that all transport projects are correctly closed off and relevant documents are archived

**Reporting Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of project & POD dashboards
- Preparation of other ad hoc reports and analysis as required

**Key Relationships**:

- Operations team across region
- Regional commercial team
- Shared Services teams in SADC

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
