**Lead Generator** - (Cape Town)

Function: Working as part of the Sales Team, the Lead Generator will be responsible for making outbound calls and generating potential qualified leads. They will convert outbound dialing leads into qualified appointments and then pass these qualified leads on to the relevant person to turn the leads into business.

Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 (Mon - Fri)

**Minimum Requirements**
- Matric
- 3-5 years’ Experience in a call centre environment or similar role
- Microsoft Office Suite intermediate knowledge (as well as computer literate)
- Strong time management and interpersonal skills to build relationships over the telephone
- Strong communication, active listening, and customer service skills
- Professional phone voice
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of how to qualify leads

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Act as an ambassador of Freightmore
- Convert calls into new business qualified leads
- Making outbound calls on a daily basis using data provided
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and Sales Team to ensure qualified leads are generated within various business sectors
- Achieve agreed personal and departmental targets captured from calling data provided
- Use company databases to gain potential qualified leads
- Proactively identifying opportunities for new business
- Follow up and get feedback after lead appointments from the customers
- Conduct surveys to assist with customer satisfaction
- Deal with telephone queries
- Build relationships with colleagues, and clients
- Ensure service is prompt, polite, and professional standards are kept
- Assist with other departments as required

**Salary**: From R1.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brackenfell, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)
